Our Goals

The religious world of our day is one of chaos and confusion! Each year brings the birth of new religious groups.

When the Lord Jesus Christ came to this world, He declared that He would build His church (Matthew 16:18). The results of His effort as described in the New Testament produced one body and one faith (Ephesians 4:4–5). However, it was foretold that even some of His own followers would “turn away...from the truth” and “turn aside to myths.” (2 Timothy 4:3–4; Acts 20:28–30). Naturally, the Lord is not pleased with religious division (1 Corinthians 1:10 and John 17:20–21).

• How can believers know that they follow the one true faith?
• And how can believers be unified?

The Christians of this congregation believe that if men and women will commit to following the Bible as their only guide, then these believers in Jesus Christ can be one! We imitate the New Testament pattern of the Lord’s church by basing all our activities on biblical instructions. By doing so, we labor together in the unity of the “one faith” of the New Testament.
